I really don’t think there is ever a week that goes by that people don’t ask me what it’s like, or what it takes, to work from home (on my own terms) as a virtual assistant and freelancer.
I think about half of them are secretly wondering if I am starving to death and half-expecting me to admit I gave up and am looking for a 9-5 job. I know this because their eyes get a tad bigger when I tell them that not only am I LOVIN’ it…I’m KILLIN’ it. 🙂
My successful VA business (that I’ve worked since 2011) has allowed me the chance to earn a steady income from home, be there for my kids and never have to ask anyone for a day off work!
Working from home as a virtual assistant does certainly have its trials and tribulations, but no more that any other business owner would experience.
