My name is Rebecca “Becky” Flansburg. I am so glad you are here 🙂
I’m a long-time freelance editor who works with emerging authors, published authors, bloggers, and small businesses. I have been a freelance writer and blogger since the late 1990s and have worked full-time from home since 2012. Editing was originally part of my Ghostwriting Services but became a separate offering in 2023 thanks to multiple inquiries.
I saw this description of editing, and it is spot on.
Editing a book (or any piece of content) is similar to giving it a makeover; it involves polishing, repairing, and improving it to produce the greatest edition possible.
As your dedicated editor, I am not just a second set of eyes but also your cheerleader, guide, and the one who catches all those pesky typos.
I also know communication is very important, and I am available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. CT. I work with my clients at their pace, and together, we brainstorm the direction and voice of your content.
