Did you know that Facebook has the option of allowing users to create Lists of people or business they follow, very similar to Twitter’s list-making option?
First, let’s me share what a Facebook Interest List is. Facebook describes it as:
Interest lists are an optional way to organize and view the content you’re interested in on Facebook. You can create your own interest lists based on the things you care about, or follow other people’s lists. For example, you could create a Top Indie Bands list that features band Pages and public updates from the bands’ members.
When you create or follow a list, you may also see some posts from that list in your main News Feed.
Interests like “Marketing Gurus” or “Coaches to Follow” can be created by locating your Interests option on the left side bar of your Facebook News Feed. By clicking on “Interests” you can create a new Interest List and you can add Pages those lists every time you Like a new page.
When you Like a page, click the drop down menu, and click on Interest Lists, and add the new Page to whatever list you choose.
