With a tear in my eye, I note on the calendar that there is just a little over a month left until our kids go back to school.
Now, I won’t lie. There ARE days when our house seems REALLY SMALL and the constant bugging makes it hard for me to get my work done. But overall I adore summer and all the chances to have fun and create memories. Every year I create my No Bummer Summer Activities Board on Pinterest and I use this as a guide/resource for us to try new things. We have not done all of these things {yet} but I wanted to share the ones I am most excited about. Enjoy!

How cool is this!! {Can’t wait to try this one} Science for Kids from Growing a Jeweled Rose
TEEPEES ROCK. And that’s all I have to say about that. Check out this “no sew” teepee from Pink When.
Family Movie Night is a BIG DEAL at our house. Just this week our 8 and 11 year old discovered a stash of long-outgrown VHS movies. They had a ball all afternoon reliving and watching some of their old favs like Bear and The Big Blue House and Zoomafoo. Talk about cheap fun. The next Family Movie Night we create will have some of these fun movie night ideas from B-Inspired Mama.
Cool, colorful and funky Duct Tape is everywhere these days but my wee little uncreative brain couldn’t figure out a good use until I saw this awesome Duct Tape Ring activity for kids tutorial from Living Locurto.
This is from last year’s No Bummer Summer Activity Board, but our kids still talk about how much fun it was. Encore! Create a Summer Outdoor Adventure.
