International Women’s Day is celebrated in many countries on March 8th, but the whole month of March is Women’s History Month!
My fellow moms and blogging buddies at Multicultural Kids Blog (MKB) want to celebrate the countless contributions of women to all areas of life, including science, the arts, and healthcare, and many others. That’s why they came up with a Women in World History Activity Pack and the Women’s History Month Research Packet.
Women in World History Activity Pack
Designed for children between 8-12 years old, this pack includes one-page reading passages featuring 20 women in history, a reading comprehension quiz, additional comprehension worksheets, as well as a recommended reading list.

Women’s History Month Research Pack
MKB also has a Women’s History Month Research Pack.
This beautiful packet includes the study of 20 women, five in each category: Human Rights, Politics, Science, and Arts. It includes an individual research project, oral presentation, a unit-long lap book-style packet, and a classroom timeline display, this colorful product is meant for grades 2,3 and 4.

How cool is this? MKB always has stellar information, blog posts and resources. Happy learning!
