Time Sandwich by Matt Brennan with illustrations by Jonathan Reich
This young adult graphic novel is quite the hoot! I knew I was going to be in for a treat when I saw the tagline of “A Start in the Middle Book” on the front cover.
When Tuckie and Huggs discover a time machine, they have no idea of the adventures they’re about to have – but their future selves do! Their crazy adventures are filled with hazards like hungry dinos, killer robots and even themselves!
Start in the middle of the book and then turn the page backward or forwards to follow the timelines and to travel backward and forward in time. For ages 8-12.
About the Author
Matt Brennan has always been obsessed with time travel, whether it’s altering the past in order to change the future or a closed time loop where everything that’s going to happen has already happened. He lives in Burbank, CA with a stuffed Klingon Targ. This is his first book.
My Thoughts: A very fun and unique spin on a great story that will keep readers engaged and loving the mystery! Grab Time Sandwich on Amazon.

Our mission is to raise awareness of the ongoing need to include kids’ books that celebrate diversity in homes and on school bookshelves while also working diligently to get more of these types of books into the hands of young readers, parents, and educators.
