I’ve been a “sometimes” eBay seller since 2002, but I jumped back into it seriously in 2020 and it is now a huge part of my freelance business. It’s not easy, but it is soooo worth it. The main question I see posted in the reseller Facebook Groups is, “What sells best on eBay?”
Well, pretty much anything (unless it’s illegal, immoral, racist, or banned by the manufacturer), but the key is to focus your time, effort, and precious money on the things that are in demand and sell well and sell for a good profit.
As mentioned, I spent HOURS researching and watching Reselling Influencers on YouTube to learn how to make smart purchases and properly run my eBay store like a business. But one of the stand-outs for helping me grow my reseller business is Courtney from BOLO Buddies.
BOLO stands for Be On the Look Out and her videos share tips and reselling “scores” from other Resellers who are Buying Low and Selling High on eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, and Etsy. Her channel is the motherload of great information thanks to her Featured Reseller BOLO videos (like me!), Featured YouTuber Reseller BOLO Videos, Category BOLO Videos, Big Money BOLO videos, Bread & Butter BOLO Videos, Unboxing Videos, How to videos, Jewelry testing videos, Thrift with Me videos, YouTube auction buys unboxing, Mystery Box unboxing videos and more. Another mega-watt perk with Courtney’s content is that also shares what NOT to sell. Her videos about “VEROs” is an important must-watch for all resellers. Getting caught by eBay selling something they don’t allow can result in your account getting suspended or worse. Look for any of her videos (there are five) that have VERO in the title to learn what to avoid.
